Waltham, Massachusetts: State officials are hosting another community meeting on Secure Communities

Waltham, Massachusetts: State officials are hosting another community meeting with immigrant advocates over a controversial Secure Communities that checks the immigration status of people who are arrested. Immigrant advocates complain to Gov. Deval Patrick over his plans to join the federal program allows arrestees' fingerprint info to be checked against FBI criminal history records and biometrics-based immigration records kept by the DHS.
