TX: Austin Police Chief speaks out on AZ immigration law (SB1070)...Acevedo joined national law enforcement officials from a border security conference in El Paso.
Acevedo and Los Angeles sheriff Lee Baca (this is the guy connected to the Muslim group CAIR, had his guys pray in a Mosque, and went to DC to speak out against AZ SB1070) said that the Arizona law will damage the relationship between police and immigrant community, which Acevedo cited as crucial in fighting crime.
