Blatant, in-your-face corruption and Nazi tactics in MARYLAND occurring NOW

Blatant, in-your-face corruption and Nazi tactics in MARYLAND occurring NOW
The DREAM Act, granting in-state tuition and other special privileges to illegal aliens was defeated in Congress last year, but MD, a sanctuary state, was able to pass its own version (SB 167) in April. This was managed by intense lobbying from the far leftwing illegal [alien] advocate organization, CASA de Maryland -- which receives millions from the state -- and a blizzard of legislative contortions..Almost from the beginning, CASA activists and others have harassed petitioners wherever they set up. Here is a partial list of their tactics:

Morons (State Election Board) give MD voters signatures to CASA de Maryland to copy

Morons (State Election Board) give MD voters signatures to CASA de Maryland to copy...Delegate Parrott stated a new problem he was having with the State Election Board wanting to allow the illegal alien support group, CASA de Maryland, (CASA) to take possession of the 67,000 petition signatures so they could be copied at a local copy center. Neil said that he was told our side would not be able to have anyone present while CASA was making its copies of our petitions..The State of Maryland Election Board is going to give the original and only copy of the 67,000 petition signatures to the political opposition of the group that collected the signatures, for the political opposition to take out of the election board office and have in their personal unsupervised possession to take to a local business to copy them.
..Whomever takes possession of the copies of the names, addresses and birth dates of those who signed the petitions needs to make sure that every effort is made to assure the information on those signing the petitions is used only for legitimate referendum or opposition purposes...

Maryland Certifies Nearly 50,000 Anti-DREAM Act Signatures

Maryland Certifies Nearly 50,000 Anti-DREAM Act Signatures... Opponents of the Maryland DREAM Act are one step closer to letting voters decide if illegal aliens should receive in-state tuition discounts when they attend colleges and universities in the state. On Wednesday, the State Board of Elections certified more than 47,000 petition signatures, leaving petition sponsors with little more than 8,000 signatures to collect by the June 30 deadline...DREAM Act opponents must submit the remaining petition signatures to the state board by June 30. If the required number (55,736) are submitted by that date, the new law will NOT go into effect. If signatures are certified, the issue will be presented to voters in November 2012.

Maryland: Baltimore City Council joins chorus against Obama immigration enforcement (Secure Communities Program)

Maryland: Baltimore City Council joins chorus against Obama immigration enforcement (Secure Communities Program).. Baltimore City Council tonight voted to adopt a resolution condemning a federal program that is key to Obama’s strategy to toughen enforcement of immigration laws, joining a chorus of other states and law enforcement agencies across the country in rebuffing the initiative. According to a press release from CASA OF MARYLAND, the non-binding resolution calls for a suspension of the "Secure Communities" program, which the council says is "undermining public safety in the city for everyone" by mostly deporting people who have not committed an infraction. It was introduced by City Councilman Jim Kraft, who represents Southeast Baltimore.

Maryland: Me to Casa de Maryland - Don't Tread on Me

Maryland: Me to Casa de Maryland - Don't Tread on Me..Yesterday, the statewide petition drive to bring the law permitting in-state tuition for the children of illegal aliens to a referendum announced a significant accomplishment. The drive's sponsors were successful in collecting more than enough signatures to meet the state's first deadline for submission....On a number of occasions, volunteers collecting signatures for the petition were approached and harassed by members of illegal alien advocacy groups.
