Phoenix, AZ: Proposal would change judicial selection process...would prevent the State Bar of Arizona from nominating members to commissions that make recommendations to the governor on state judicial appointments. governor would continue appointing attorneys to the commissions, but the State Bar would be eliminated as a middle-man for nominating people to serve on the panels.
