Oklahoma: Checkpoints..When police officers cast a wide net in search of unlicensed/uninsured drivers, they often bring in a good catch. When those caught are Hispanics who are in the country illegally, officers bring in more than criminals. They also catch grief... Licensed, insured motorists have nothing to fear from a checkpoint other than inconvenience..Sparing the rod for unlicensed drivers from any ethnic background does nothing for the majority who comply with the law.
