Indiana House committee OKs weakened immigration bill - now goes to the full House

Indiana House committee OKs weakened immigration bill (SB590) - now goes to the full House..the legislation now focuses more on employers, to remove the incentive for people to come here illegally, and it takes steps to keep illegal aliens already behind bars from getting out. Among those pushing for the changes was Gov. Mitch Daniels. (Mitch Daniels is running for president! He does not want to defend police cracking down on illegals because he'll need the Hispanic vote to beat Obama. Don't worry, the next governor (Pence) will sign the dropped portion of this bill into law. This is how politics is played.)
