AZ: Judge halts action on Arizona immigration case (SB1070).. A federal judge considering a challenge to Arizona’s immigration enforcement law says she will formally put the brakes on most action in that case until a higher court(9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals) decides an appeal by Gov. Jan Brewer. Gov. Brewer sued the federal government for allegedly failing to secure the border.
