Alabama immigration bill hot topic in local Hispanic community

Alabama immigration bill hot topic in local Hispanic community... Baldwin County's growing Hispanic community says Alabama's immigration bill is harsh, unfair and COULD BE considered "racial profiling." We talked to several members of Summerdale's Hispanic community Friday about the controversial Arizona-style immigration bill...Alabama Senate approved the immigration bill, just weeks after the House passed their own version of the bill. The bill requires police officers to ask for proof of U-S citizenship on traffic stops then detain the driver or passenger if they can't prove citizenship. The bill also requires business owners to use "E-Verify"...a computer program that checks immigration status when hiring workers.
The bill is waiting on Governor Robert Bentley to sign it into law...
