Tucson police/K-9 screening crowd at TUSD HQ
ReplyDeleteTucson police have blocked off the street in front of Tucson Unified School District headquarters in anticipation of large crowds when the board meets tonight to discuss ethnic studies.
About 50 people are gathered for the possible Governing Board vote that could make some Mexican American Studies courses electives. Police are screening people as they file into the building at 1010 E. 10th Street.
There are more than 70 police officers on site. Officers and police K-9 are screening the crowd, which is steadily growing but orderly.
