ACLU says Colo. immigrant suspected of being in country illegally settles detention lawsuit... Luis Quezada reached a $40,000 settlement with the Jefferson County sheriff, which held him at the request of ICE in 2009. Quezada reached a $50,000 settlement with ICE earlier this month. ICE acknowledged no wrongdoing by settling the case. Quezada was arrested for failing to appear in court on traffic charges. Quezada alleges he was held even though a 48-hour request from ICE had expired.
