Wellton, AZ: Border Patrol agents arrest 8 suspected smugglers...The Border Patrol says agents were tracking suspected smugglers in the desert west of the Barry Goldwater gunnery range south of Interstate 8 when the group was found Monday.
The Border Patrol says the pot was found in five backpacks and has an estimated street value of $144,000.The drugs and the suspected smugglers were handed over to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
