GA: ACLU to File Suit Against Georgia's Immigration Law HB87...The ACLU of Georgia and other rights groups are preparing to file a lawsuit challenging Georgia's immigration law, which seeks to go after Illegal Aliens... The state chapter of the ACLU said in a statement Wednesday that the groups plan to hold a news conference today to discuss the suit. GA's law, one of the toughest on immigration at the state-level in the nation, is scheduled to go into effect on July 1. Last week, the ACLU filed a lawsuit seeking to block enforcement of a new law in Indiana that targets Illegal Aliens.
