Vinton, Iowa: U.S. Immigration Enforcement Executes Search Warrants

Vinton, Iowa: Local police and agents from the U.S. ICE executed search warrants Tuesday at two Chinese restaurant locations and a home in Vinton.. “For operational security reasons, as these warrants are part of an on-going investigation, no further comment is available.”..Chan Gia Duong, 43, a co-owner of Peony Family Restaurant in Vinton pleaded guilty in December 2010 to harboring illegal workers and filing a false tax return. Phung Ca Long, 41, also a co-owner, pleaded guilty in November 2010 to conspiring to harbor illegal workers for commercial gain and making false statements to Medicaid. (SOUNDS LIKE THESE PEOPLE DIDN'T LEARN THEIR LESSON THE FIRST TIME?)
