Time to Revisit California Prop 187...a measure passed by CA voters by a 2-1 margin in 1994 to restrict payment of state benefits to illegal aliens..Unfortunately, Prop. 187 was overturned by liberal judges and Democrat politicians. Now seventeen years later, California is inundated with millions of illegal aliens cost the state $10 billion a year. Further, about 30 percent of California inmates are illegals, a fact worth remembering as the state struggles to comply with an order to free thousands from the state’s overcrowded prisons.
