Los Angeles Small turnout for May Day march [few hundred]...What a change from 2006. A few hundred marchers in LA on a beautiful Sunday?? I'm looking at the Chicago sites and still haven't found an article about the marches. A bust here too? activists have de-emphasized street actions in favor of change at the ballot box through promoting citizenship and voter registration. (WE NEED TO MAKE A CHANGE AT THE BALLOT BOX TOO!)
