Ill. committee sends immigrant scholarship and college savings bill to House floor SB2185...would establish a privately-funded college scholarship for illegal alien students..measure would allow immigrant children and illegal aliens — to apply for funds. It also would allow illegal aliens to invest in the state's college savings program. Only students who currently work and are already enrolled in college may apply.
