Alabama: 'English only' case won't be reheard by Alabama Supreme Court
The Alabama Supreme Court has refused to reconsider its decision that allowed the state to keep giving driver's license exams in multiple languages..Attorneys representing several Alabama citizens, including Republican state Sen. Scott Beason of Gardendale, sued state officials in 2008. They contended the use of multiple languages violates Alabama's Constitution, which says English is the official language. The plaintiffs lost in Montgomery County Circuit Court. Then they appealed to the state Supreme Court, which ruled in March that the lower court decision would stand.

  1. Vote to remove the state supreme court judges for violation of the state constitution. If English is the official language then everything is suppose to be printed in English. If they are driving in our country, then they need to have the exams printed in English. We are AMERICA, NOT MEXICO!
