Oregon: House panel takes up illegal alien tuition issue
Passionate citizens told Oregon lawmakers Wednesday that giving some [illegal aliens] in-state university tuition would reward lawbreakers and harm a cash-strapped state. The committee has not scheduled a vote on SB742, which passed the Senate in March with support from all 15 Democrats who were present and three Republicans.
